Two of these are worth checking yourself before booking anything, because they are free and they resolve a real share of calls. For 4C: confirm both taps are fully open, look for a kinked fill hose, and check the small filter screens where the hoses meet the machine, which clog with scale in hard water. For UB or UR: check the machine is level and not rocking, and try a mixed load rather than one soaked rug or a single bath mat.
What a code does do well is tell a technician where to start, which is why writing it down exactly as displayed, and noting whether it clears on a power cycle and how quickly it returns, is worth a minute of your time.
Front Loaders and the Door Boot
