How our coverage actually works

Each metro on this page has its own crew, its own phone number and its own Google profile. When you book, the job goes to a technician who works that area every week, not to a call centre that sends whoever is free.

That is why the ZIP lists matter. A metro page covers the city and the suburbs around it, and the edges are where people are unsure. If your ZIP is not on a list, call the number for the nearest metro and dispatch will match your street to the van that runs it, usually in under a minute.

What changes from metro to metro

The appliances are the same everywhere. What breaks them is not.

Hard water runs through much of Atlanta and Jacksonville. Scale settles in ice makers, drain pumps, valves and heating elements, so those parts fail years earlier than the manual predicts. In those metros the water filter schedule is not optional.

Salt air off the coast in Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa Bay corrodes control boards, door latches and evaporator fan motors. A machine ten blocks from the water ages differently to the identical one twenty miles inland.

Humidity and heat keep refrigerators running most of the hour through a Florida, Georgia or Texas summer. More runtime means more wear on the compressor and the coils, and it is why coil cleaning matters more here than in a dry state.

Storms bring voltage surges, and surges kill control boards. In Atlanta, Tampa and Houston we see a wave of dead electronics after every serious storm season.

Old housing stock shapes the work in Philadelphia and parts of Charlotte. Rowhomes built before 1950 still run on their original gas lines and wiring, so a burner that will not light is as often a supply problem as an appliance one.

Getting a same-day slot

Same-day windows open each morning and fill through the day, so an early call has the best chance of one. Measured across 63,970 completed jobs, 23.1 percent were booked and finished the same day and 52.4 percent within a day — the full numbers are on same-day repair rates.

Dispatch gives you a set arrival window rather than a whole day, and calls ahead if the technician is running early or late. If the fault is unsafe — a gas smell, a burning smell, water on the floor — say so on the phone and the call moves to the front of the queue.

What it costs, wherever you are

The service call is $99 in every metro, and it comes off the bill when you approve the repair. Stacked washer-dryer combos and double ovens are $150, because they are two machines in one cabinet. Veterans and seniors take $30 off any repair, new customers $20 off a first service, and every completed job carries 90 days on parts and labor.

Typical totals by appliance are on the pricing page, and the full data behind them is on cost by part.

Renting, or managing property? We work with landlords and property managers across all eight metros: plain-language notes for the tenant, the full technical write-up for the file, and one invoice per unit. Mention it when dispatch calls and the paperwork comes that way.
