Of the 2,385 visits we have completed here, 1,305 of them, 54.7 percent, are in Tarrant County, the Fort Worth side. Collin County is 17.4 percent, Dallas County is 16.2 percent, and Denton County is 8.1 percent.
Put in city terms it is even starker. Fort Worth alone accounts for 481 visits. The city of Dallas accounts for 79. That is six to one in favour of the west side, and it is why the busiest postcode on our whole Texas record is 76028 in Burleson with 95 visits, followed by 76063 in Mansfield with 79 and 76179 in north Fort Worth with 68.

The dishwasher line is the one worth acting on. At a 250 dollar median it is the cheapest common repair on this list, the 99 dollar diagnostic comes off that total, and a replacement machine plus installation does not start anywhere near it. The ice maker line is the opposite end: at 401 dollars it is the most expensive single job we do in this metroplex, because in-door ice systems mean pulling the whole assembly rather than swapping one part.
Whirlpool country, not Samsung country
Brand mix is not the same from metro to metro, and it changes what a repair costs and how fast we can get the part. In this metroplex Whirlpool leads at 25.5 percent of branded repairs, with GE second at 21.5 percent and Samsung third at 19.7 percent. That ordering matters: in Atlanta, Tampa Bay, South Florida and Houston it is Samsung that leads, and Samsung parts run through a narrower distribution than Whirlpool or GE parts do.

Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Maytag and Amana together are nearly three quarters of the branded work here, and those five share a lot of parts across their lines. Fort Worth at 320 dollars sits above the metroplex median, and that is a housing stock effect rather than a pricing one: the west side has more standalone homes with large-capacity laundry and more side-by-side refrigeration than the older Dallas County neighbourhoods do. Colleyville and Princeton at 260 dollars anchor the other end, for opposite reasons, one newer construction under warranty pressure and the other smaller kitchens.
Where our coverage goes, and how fast
The dense part of our map runs down the Tarrant County corridor: Burleson in 76028 with 95 visits, Mansfield in 76063 with 79, north Fort Worth in 76179 with 68 and 76244 with 54, then Grand Prairie in 75052 with 48 and west Fort Worth in 76131 with 46. Outside that corridor we cover Collin County properly, with 50 paid repairs in McKinney, 55 in Frisco and 48 in Plano, and we reach Denton County through Lewisville and Flower Mound.
